Application Process

— Host Organizations —

We accept Intern/Trainee applications throughout the year, so you are encouraged to contact ICEF whenever you have an opportunity you would like to provide. Please keep in mind that the entire application process can take up to two months – from the date that we have a prospective candidate for your intern/training position, until the date when they arrive to the U.S. to begin their program.

Materials Required

Host Organizations that are interested in hosting an Intern/Trainee will need to provide to ICEF:

Host Organization Application & Agreement
Workers' Compensation Policy
Photos of work area (details to be provided)

Vetting Process

ICEF will conduct a screening call with all new Host Organizations. Additionally, if your business has fewer than 25 onsite, full-time employees, OR if your annual revenue is less than $3 million, we will need to perform a Site Visit—either an in-person or virtually—in accordance with Department of State requirements. If ICEF places a participant with your company, you will need to pay a small fee for the Site Visit, if required.
