Intern or Trainee

Hosting a J-1 Intern/Trainee at your business is an extraordinary opportunity for you and your colleagues to share your knowledge and expertise with enthusiastic, young foreign professionals who are interested in learning the American way of doing business, which will provide them with a competitive edge over their peers when they return to their country to embark upon their career. Not only are the they learning about American culture and traditions, but your staff also benefit from the opportunity to learn more about your Intern/Trainee’s culture.

We will collaborate with you to develop a structured and guided work-based internship or training program that meets the requirements of the J-1 visa program. Keeping in mind the need to be able to offer a “rotational” training plan (i.e., the Intern/Trainee will cycle through several different training phases for a comprehensive learning experience), we will assist you with developing an approvable Training/Internship Placement Plan (T/IPP) that also includes ideas for cultural activities for the Intern/Trainee.
